It is only April but I had a spare moment, so the Edmodo groups for teachers for all the books and author study have been created for you to join.
Peter H. Reynolds Author Study Group on Edmodo https://edmo.do/j/4fpgfb
The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane Group on Edmodo https://edmo.do/j/hiessv
The Fourteenth Goldfish Group on Edmodo https://edmo.do/j/jcmw82
One For the Murphy’s Group on Edmodo https://edmo.do/j/9d3fh9
The Fault in Our Stars Teacher Group on Edmodo https://edmo.do/j/y9fhkx
Mass Facilitator Group – if you are the main contact for a group of teachers in your school or district, this is a great group to join. https://edmo.do/j/mtk6pu
The one best way to find someone to connect with is to join the Edmodo groups for teachers. In the past they were used to set up Skype connections, ask for ideas or support, and just general sharing. This is for teachers only, smaller Edmodo groups will be set up for students closer to the start date. Log in to Edmodo and enter in the code for the group you wish to join. If you are not sure how to do this please reach out.
I got a message that the code was invalid for The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane…..
Can we sign up for each group? I'm not sure which book to select quite yet.
Is there any possibility that another book could be added that would be more appropriate for 2-3 grade students. This years choices are fantastic for a little bit older students but pretty heavy, long and complex for 7-8 year olds in October. Last year Marty McGuire was spot on.
I am sorry but no, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is the book recommended for 2nd and 3rd grade or the author study if that would work better.
Yes, you can sign up for any Edmodo group you want to.
