Picture Book Author
Australian author Mem Fox has been a contender for a few years, so I am thrilled to have her be the chosen focus of our picture book study. With her enthralling storytelling, her many books focused on the ordinary and not so ordinary, and the perspective she brings her impact on the Global Read Aloud community promises to be profound.

In your email it says that Mem Fox is not participating but are we still using her books posted above. I want to start to order my picture books over the summer.

That is accurate, she will not participate herself, however, we are still reading her books.
I would suggest Straight Line Wonder if anyone is wondering about the Mem Fox free choice. It is an awesome story about a person’s perseverence to be themselves!
